Domenico Rotella, my great-great grandfather,
became a master baker in his native town of Calabria,
Italy. He passed his knowledge of the art of baking
to his son (my great grandfather), Alessandro
Rotella, who immigrated to this country and, in
1921, officially began Rotella's Italian Bakery,
Inc. here in Omaha, Nebraska.
True to our roots, both the wonderful taste and
texture are craftily blended with new modern efficiencies
resulting in a unique consistent flavor, and an
appearance that genuinely sets our products apart
from the competition.
